State aid in the animal breeding sector in 2020

On 6 April 2020, was published in the Official Gazette no. 286, the Decision no. 266/2020 for supplementing the art. 19 of the Government Decision no. 1.179/2014 on the establishment of a state aid scheme in the animal breeding sector

The amount allocated to the state aid for 2020 is maximum RON 54,048,000, our of which RON 25,012,000 for the bull, buffalo, pig, and equine species, respectively RON 29,036,000 for the sheep and goat species, and is funded from the State Budget, in the limit of the budgetary provisions approved to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development for 2020.

Amendments of the Government Decision no. 807/2014

On 6 April 2020, was published the Official Gazette no. 286, the Decision no. 268/2020 for the amendment of the Government Decision no. 807/2014 on the establishment of state aid schemes aimed to stimulate the investments with a major impact on the economy

It is established that, in order to solve the requests for payment of the state aid, no on-the-spot checks will be carried out until 31 December 2020.

Amendments are brought to the annexes, among others, the beneficiary must declare on his own responsibility that the assets exist physically at the location of the investment and that the information included in the Annex no. 4a is accurate and complete under the sanction of the application of art. 326 - “False statement” of Law no. 286/2009 regarding the Penal Code, as subsequently amended and supplemented.
